Factory Locked 1997 FZJ80

1997 is the last year of the FZJ80 in the United States. The model was the last solid axle 4X4 offered to the US market, and some say the last of the true 4X4s that Toyota sent us. The 80 series is highly desirable and was recently dubbed one of the top 10 most collectable cars of 2021. $25,000

For sale by a friend of the shop. This 1997 Factory Triple Locked FZJ80 is ready to go. It features a 2.5″ OME lift and 265X75R16 tires. There’s also an ARB front bumper and Warn winch. The exterior of this Land Cruiser received a respray at some point in the past and is in good condition. The interior also received new seat coverings presumably when the paint was done. This Land Cruiser is rust free with an excellent chassis.

*Buyer’s Tip – When you are looking for an 80 series Land Cruiser, it’s important to look at the undercarriage. Vehicles that are from or have spent a lot of their lives in the eastern part of the United States appear to be rust free until you look closely at the undercarriage or the engine compartment. Often the frame and suspension components of these vehicles are so rusty that they aren’t serviceable, repairable, or even safe to drive.
