Very Clean Low Mile Survivor 1987 FJ60

What is a survivor, classic vehicle? It’s one that’s managed to evade the seemingly inevitable rust, modifications, accidents, and bad ownership that leads to the death of most vehicles. They’re rare because the circumstances have to be just right for a long time to produce one.  It’s getting really hard to find FJ60s that meet these criteria. For me, to be a perfect survivor, a Land Cruiser has to have all of its original components (drivetrain, interior, and paint) and be virtually unmodified. There also needs to be very little if no damage or rust. It’s a tough ask, and there aren’t many. This FJ60 comes very close to meeting all of the criteria above. It’s as legitimate of a survivor as we ever get to see, with maybe 4 or 5  passing through our shop in the last 5 years.

If you’ve been looking for really nice FJ60, then this one might be the one. Any additional photos are available on request. Please contact the shop at (970)596 7363 for details. $35,000

This FJ60 has been living in the mountains of Colorado for the last 14 years serving as an occasional summer home driver. It’s in excellent condition save for the considerable dent in the right front fender. Also, for some reason, the hood has been repainted. All of the rest of the paint on the Cruiser is original. The windshield is broken, but a new one has been ordered and will be replaced for the new owner.
